Things just keep getting better for Dripping Springs QB Austin Novosad ('23). iReporter Anna Hoss confirms the third year Tiger starter just picked up another Division I offer.
A Baylor-verbal commit, the rest of the nation is giving Novosad something to think about. His recruiting profile has skyrocketed through the offseason, picking up Power Five offers from Ohio State, Texas A&M, Stanford and others. Add the Fighting Irish to the growing list.
Novosad tallied 3400 passing yards/40 passing TDs in his breakout junior season. Let's take a look back at his 3 TD performance versus (then undefeated) Buda Johnson in one of the most anticipated match ups for the entire 2021 season (Tigers would win, 52-7).
Novosad led Dripping Springs to the State 7 versus 7 Tournament in College Station this past Summer - the first time the Tigers have qualified in over a decade. His performance garnered him an offer from Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies.
The Tigers will open the 2022 season on the road versus Vandegrift (Monroe Stadium) on August 26th. Congrats to Austin and his family!!
