Vandegrift v Round Rock could be the match up of the week if Westlake and Drip weren’t playing. Give me Vandegrift in a close one against round rock. 

Hyde Park is coming off a huge OT thriller win against St. Michaels but I think their time has come to an end, Regents is always an annual powerhouse and they look like it again at 6-0. Give me Regents. Westlake v. Drip is my game of the week and I will never root against my Chaps. Westlake by a million. The Dickey brothers have been on fire for the Cougars, give me Crockett to beat Travis and earn their 3-0 win streak.

Vista has been on a hot streak. Questions at the QB position for Stony Point, yet to be answered so far.

Vandegrift v Round Rock - Round Rock

This game is going to be a barn burner for the ages. Two Goliath’s in 25-6A going to clash this Friday, and with Round Rock looking to stay undefeated. Vandy’s only loss being to the Dripping Springs Tigers in week 1. I expect this one to be decided on the last possession, and the Dragons finding a way.

Regents v Hyde Park - Regents

Hoping this is another wild game like last weeks Hyde Park game v St. Michael’s. Regents has been steam rolling through this season, and I think it may be too much for a talented Hyde Park team.

Dripping Springs v Westlake - Dripping Springs

Going for the underdog in this matchup. Drip is about to put the whole state of Texas on notice, win or lose.

Crockett v Travis - Crockett

Crockett has been rising to the occasion repeatedly this year, and I think they’ll take care of business vs Travis this week.

Stony point HAS to win this one to stay afloat in a really competitive district. They’ve just been a quarterback away and hopefully they find some footing this week against a surging Vista team.

Biggest game of the week. Having been on the sideline for the past few RR v Vandy games, I know how competitive this match up is. I think this is one of the best offenses Vandegrift will have ever taken up against a RR squad. I think they take it.

Regents is at a place that I think Hyde park can get to. Churning out D1 quarterback talent and competing for state championships. I think regents takes this years match up but this will be fun for years to come.
