FLX 5 Week 7 Picks
CAMERON PARKER (19-11)
St Michael v Hyde Park-Hyde Park
Manor v Round Rock- Round Rock
Cedar Ridge v Stony Point- Stony Point
Georgetown v Leander- Georgetown
Vista Ridge v Westwood – Vista Ridge
DEREK COHEN (20-10)
St Michael v Hyde Park- St. Michaels
Should be a fun one to cover. Hyde Park has looked dominant all year but I think the Crusaders get a close W with their high powered offense
Manor v Round Rock- Round Rock.
Round Rock has looked dominant all year and we some some blemishes in a tough Manor program. Dragons should control this one.
Cedar Ridge v Stony Point- Cedar Ridge
After a big win last week against Westwood I think the raiders control this game especially with a shaken up QB for sTp
Georgetown v Leander- Georgetown
Eagle Fight Never Dies
Vista Ridge v Westwood- Vista Ridge
The Rangers come from behind wins last week shows how tough this program is. The warriors seem to be fading away after getting blown out last week. Give me the Rangers on this one
NOLAN HOGAN (21-9)
St Michael v Hyde Park-St. Michaels
St. Michael’s has been on an offensive tear the past few weeks, I want it to keep rolling through Hyde Park.
Manor v Round Rock- Round Rock
Manor saw their first big dawg in the 6A realm last week against Vandy, and proved they can stay in the fight for the first half. The biggest outlier in my opinion, is just the number of players on each sideline. Manor is noticeably shorter-handed than these more established 6A programs. I can see this being a similar game to Vandy’s outcome. Manor still a threat to say the least if the Dragons sit on their heels.
Cedar Ridge v Stony Point- Stony Point
Stony Point’s offense has seems to gain steam in district play. If the defense can play as a unit, and swarm on the ball, tonight should be a prove-it game for the Tigers. Raiders coming off the momentum of a huge comeback win over Westwood, where the team seemed to click and put things together, so it won’t be an easy feat for the Tigers to walk out with a W.
Georgetown v Leander- Georgetown
Very few teams have proven to be able to slow down Andrew Petter and the GTown offense. The solution seems to be, just score until the Eagles don’t.
Vista Ridge v Westwood-
Vista Ridge v Westwood - Westwood
Westwood is still my darling team of the ATX. I’m gonna roll with the Warriors and Coach wood every week.
SNUPE DANIEL (18-12)
St Michael v Hyde Park- St. Michaels
Excited to check this out on Thursday, I forsee a Sam Stone FG to win it. SMCA - 1
Manor v Round Rock- Round Rock
Mustangs learn another lesson, but feel its their last loss for a white. Round Rock, -9
Cedar Ridge v Stony Point- Cedar Ridge
An old rivalry that has lost some sizzle over the recent years is low key one of the biggest games of Week 7. Cedar Ridge, -1.
Georgetown v Leander- Georgetown
Eagles roll, Georgetown -11
Vista Ridge v Westwood- Vista Ridge
Opposite direction momentum. VR likes to play them close., but WW was good in their lone OT game (win vs Bastrop). Rangers, -1
ZACH LUCERO (21-9)
St Michael v Hyde Park- Hyde Park
Manor v Round Rock- Round Rock
Cedar Ridge v Stony Point- Stony Point
Georgetown v Leander- Georgetown
Vista Ridge v Westwood- Vista Ridge
The Dawson era has just hit different. Dru Dawson also on the staff working with QBs is a great explanation as to why their offense has just been pouring it on teams
Round rock has looked unstoppable and I think a win here sets up the always competitive district title match up v Vandy
STP is due. I think that team has too much talent and this specific match up means too much to the senior class to continue this skid and drop one to CR.
From Christopher Gonzalez sTp Biggest fan feedback, it is 100 % Stony Point Tigers 🐯 will take the first Win of district 25-6A VS Cedar Ridge, and 100 % Round Rock 🐉 will take the win and stay undefeated to improved (6-0) VS Manor.
