The Holy Grail of Texas High School Football lies in sight for Westlake Football.  A never-done before feat of four straight State championships at the 6A level.  New head coach Tony Salazar is only ‘new’ in phrasing.  Groomed for the role, its quite possible he takes the wheel and steers Westlake to a four-peat.

CHAPS MIXTAPE NOTE:  Rising star Parker Lamme ('26) takes over for graduating three-year iReporter Audrey Wong.  Chaps fans, prepare for a new “cinema” visual presentation, as we evolve our mixtapes into seasonal episodes.  Stay tuned….   Watch all of the Chaps' 2021 episodes, here!

FINAL THOUGHTS: what are your predictions for the 2022 Tiger Football team?  After last year seeming unexplainable loss in Bi-District playoffs after going a perfect 10-0 up to that point…the Tigers can answer a ton of questions this year.  But what is their ceiling?  If its anything like the rocket rise of QB Austin Novosad, the Tigers could take it ‘to the moon’.   Follow along with FLX as we continue the tradition of staying ‘Vandy Per’, like no one else.
