Dawg Pack is back, baby!

The Bowie Bulldogs began the 2022 season officially this morning when they began ‘Fall Camp’.  Fall in quotations, because we are in the middle of triple digit temperature Summer.  Coach Ty Branyon led the practice this morning, with Coach Jeff Ables attending to other matters.  This was the first “first day” he has missed in his 34 years of coaching.  Needless to say, he'll be back fired up as Week One approaches August 26th.

Check out All FLX preseason pick ATH Wesley ‘Dub’ York ('23) in his new leadership role at camp

We have been singing the praises of Bulldogs' wideout Jacob Kastl ('23) all Summer, and glad the rest of the city will get to witness his hard work paying off on the football field.

Picking up recruiting steam late Summer, linebacker Brady Bram ('23) is one of the Dawgs' returning tackle leaders.  He could very well hit 3-digits in stops his final Varsity campaign.

If you haven't heard of running back Max Barnes ('23), you haven't been paying attention to Bowie Football.  A staple of Coach Ables' Varsity program since bursting onto the scene as a freshman in 2019 - Barnes best is yet ahead.

A huge thank you to the Bowie family for supporting FLX coverage again this year (making it our 9th year in a row since Fanstand debut in 2013).  iReporter Jaci Wylie is back to team up on the mixtape video recaps - so buckle up for another exciting season of ‘Dawg Pack’ coverage ‘like no one else’!
