Cedar Park Falls Short Of State Title Bid, 59-14 to Denton Ryan

An incredible 14 win season came to an end on Friday night, as Cedar Park Football fell to Denton Ryan in the UIL Class 5A Division I State Championship, 59-14.

The Timberwolves did have some high points, including cutting the Denton Ryan lead to 2 points via a Jack Hestera (from Ryder Hernandez) TD and two point conversion via Josh Cameron.

Our Timberwolves would get a second half touchdown by senior running back Cade Haught, but weren’t able to muster any more in the 3rd or 4th quarter.

Thus not only ends an incredible run by our Class of ’21 players, but one of our best iReporters in our Fanstand/FLX history, Audrey Burton.

Stay tuned next week for our final CPFB mixtape of an unforgettable 2020 season.
