HIGHLIGHTS: Lake Travis Cavaliers (Intersquad Scrimmage, 9.18)

Lake Travis Football hopes to follow up on their State 6A DI Semifinals appearance from 2019. Head Coach Hank Carter enters his 11th season with a talented core of Cavaliers. With starting quarterback Nate Yarnell (’21) out until district play, Lake Travis put their talented deep pool of signal callers on display.

Rather Bo gets his chance to play this year or not, its fair to say he’ll be in the Cavaliers’ plans over the next three seasons. Watch out for this young gun.
Isaac Norris (’22) is the early front runner to fill in for Nate Yarnell at QB. Norris is a talented athlete and threat to score with his feet on every snap.
Nathan broke out as a Super Sophomore (2018) but lose entire 2019 season due to injury. Well, he’s back, and still has a boom stick of a leg.
Tsai is one of several defensive backs for LT that could have a breakout season.
Some Texas Longhorn fans may be salty with the new USC Trojans commit. But Lake did what’s best for him, and we love it! Similar to teammate Nathan Ellison, McRee is returning after missing the entire previous season.
11th Year Head Coach Hank Carter kept masked and social safe distance through help of technology.
