FLX ATX VIDEO: Round Rock ATH Smart (’20) Celebrates UTPB Signing

After an illustrious three year Varsity run with 30+ total TDs, 2000+ total yards and a lifetime of memories – Round Rock ATH Jordan Smart (’20) celebrated his signing with UT-Permian Basin today.

Smart played majority defense his sophomore season, with 40 tackles and an interception.  Coach Jeff Cheatham’s decision to let him play both ways payed off with each following season.  While he notched 6 total TDs and 450+ yards his junior year – he exploded senior season with 20 total TDs and over 1300 total yards.  If the Dragons hadn’t narrowly missed the postseason – we think a run into December was possible (thus adding to already impressive numbers).

With the COVID-19 crisis ongoing, Jordan’s family and friends got creative with the celebration on Saturday afternoon.  Dozens of cars filled with supporters drove by Smart’s home in Round Rock to congratulate him.

Congrats on signing, Jordan!  We’ll be watching you on the next level.  Have you ever seen “J Money” play in person?  Let us know what you think about the Dragon talent in the comment section!
